Default Clutch prices?

hey im kinda new at this stuff...but i have a 2000 F4 with 15000km on it, the clutch does not engage until almost fully out, i assume this means it will need to be replaced soon(thought it does not slip at all through any of the gears). I was just wondering what would be a good price to pay for a new clutch if i was to install it, and what would be a good price for a dealer to do the install for me
any help would be great!

I'm about buy a 99 f4 with the same problem. Althought my bike has 54k miles on it. Dont know if its normal or just about to go up. Clutch prices are normally around the 100-150 mark last i checked and not too hard to install.

I don't want to sound like an *** but have you checked the clutch adjustment at all? How much free play is in the clutch? Clutch Free play should only be 10-20mm

are you talkin LEVER BLADE all the way out?
is it maybe just a cable adj. thing?
Im new to this too.
but i know from bicycle mechanic work this basic order of operations for trouble shooting:
-lube cables,(& anything else that gets lube)
-make sure everythings tightened and adusted up to spek.
-then decide about replacement?...
start with the things you can check yourself, then the replacement - cheap parts first!
(you should put on a new cable anyway if yer gettin new clutch, so no harm ...)
