Hey guys, I have been lookin for the grab rail off the European model of the F4, the 600F I think? Anyone know where to get one? I've looked on line and can't find anything. My local dealer said it's not available in Canada, so he's not interested in helping. Anyone know?

 

are you talking about the rail that come on the never model F4i right behind the seat? like this?

 

That's the one, only the European F4s also have it.

I would try ebay.co.uk, I'm sure there are some people breaking their bikes just as often as people here do. Otherwise call Honda in a European country...

 

I have saw them on bikes locally? so they must have bought it and put it on there? I never really liked it, thought they put it on for a few years here.....guess not

 

That's exactly what I was looking for. Hmmm... I'll keep looking.... I was just hoping someone might have even have known of an aftermarket piece.

Well, there is an 2006 CBR F4i sitting on the show room floor at Cycle Sport Center, Cridersville, Ohio, with that grab rail on it.

 

Good to know it's available on the american model a swell. Is the 04-06 F4i mono seat the same tail section as the 99-00 F4?

 

I may be wrong, but yes the '04-'06 are the same seat and tail as the '99 and '00 except, the newer ones have the grab bar. Do an Ebay search of bikes and you will see these grab bars on those models.

 

i have a '99 600fx the uk model of the f4, they all have the grab rail here. maybe try a uk dealer but shipping may be a problem. tippett motors in tolworth, surrey is my nearest main dealer or try honda power, chiswick , london, W4.

last try is uk ebay, you dont mention if your tail section looks like it can take the screw mounts or if you need the whole tail as well.
