About four nights ago going about 140 down I75 my god dang right fairing blew off .................................................. ............................... It look like I forgot to put in the bottom fairing bolt earlier that that day. I would have been ok if the fairing itself just flew off but it also took 2 of the 3 upper fairing mounting holes with it which really blows a$$. Since the upper fairing is so expensive, I found a F4i upper for $75 and a headlight for $75 instead of the $130 for just the F4 upper. Now I can recoup my loses by selling the headlight and be close to breaking even. Thank god I still have paint left . I'll upload pix later.

That sucks man, luckily it didnt cause a wreck, Im finially in the process of painting my tank, got it all sanded and all the dings fixed with filler, should be fully painted, and maybe back on the bike today!! will post pics soon! also just ordered a pilot pawer 2ct rear tire, since the dunlop d207 that was new, but made in 06, only lasted 1,700 miles, with no burnouts, its compleetly bald from edge to edge, my gsxr 1000 usually got atleast 2,500 miles out of it, maybe that was just crapy rubber who knows

Powder coat the frame red, that would be bitchen, the f4i's already have black, I think red would really bring the bike to life, also if your ditching the carb motor, I could really use the jet kit and k&n filter, and the damaged pipe

You'll like the power 2ct, I have em on my f4i, though just bought some bridgeston battlax's for the F4 when it's done and really looking forward to trying these.

As for the K&N it's yours man, the jet kit... really not sure if it has a jet kit... and I can sell ya that damaged slip on as well... honestly just shoot me an offer for the filter and pipe via pm and we can work it out as well as the Cowl if you wanted it

EFI MOTOR IN

and bike fully wired up, and started up literally right when I pushed the button. Not bad for my first bike engine swap... time to clean it up though

Thanks guys! Officially got it fired up and was too damn excited couldnt wait to put the rest of the stuff on the bike. Hell the gas tank isn't even bolted down... took it out for a spin, Its a world of a difference from the carb'd engine, and it feels wayyyyyy more torquier then my f4i...

Im still confused on what to do. The thing is it was super clean when painted red/black and i bought my red/black f4i. Was trying to sell the f4 and my buddy wrecked it. Now basically had to rebuild it to sell it and well kinda just wanna keep it now and sell my other f4i, i'd rather mob an f4 w/ an f4i conversion haha

I stripped off the flat black paint that the tank had, the p.o that had the f4i parts wanted a murdered out look i supposed, luckily he used ****ty paint and mineral spirts took car of that

The process would of been faster but it's been raining like crazy lately, so I was working in the rain most of the time... I feel like i've been busting but non stop, I have a car show to get ready for too so my car is all torn down too haha
