ok not saying this is your issue but If I don't have the fuel level sensor plugged in properly than it wont start. The bike will turn over and over to no avail, once its started I can unplug the fls and it runs fine, if it still doesn't work swap the wires and try again. Again not saying its gonna fix your issue but its something while I ponder this.

I plugged in the fuel level sensor when I try to start, but I haven't try swapping the cable. Will do soon. I just bought the tool kit, will check the spark plug.

Today, i got the tool kit, open the spark plug....
The spark plugs are a bit oily, perhaps it's because of too many engine start....
I clean up the spark plugs, leave one out with the cable plugged in, let the outer spark plug body touched the frame and try to start.

There's no spark on spark plugs....

what could be the problem ?

It's actually the tiny diode that causes the problem.
Today I replace the upper triple tree since it has lots of dents.
Coincidentally I found the tiny diode behind the ignition key is broken into 2 parts. I soldered it... and... it runs now !
Thanks cookml22 for pointing out to me.

Thanks for everyone replied to this thread.

Ah yep that diode is called a zener diode and its there to help prevent would-be thieves from hotwiring your bike, I have heard of a couple of people having problems with it. I had some troubles getting my RFID ignition working with it properly. Glad to hear that you got the bike up and running!

Hmmm, does it bog down or just stop like there is a wall at 2000 rpm? Is the problem limited to in gear or also in neutral? Maybe check your coils, and make sure the connections are good and solid; is there anything stuffed or clogging the air filter area? Also make sure your battery is still good. Your R/R wont charge the battery until around 4500 rpm iirc. Could also be a dirty fuel filter what does yours look like? Some other people should have other ideas as well.

Edit: you can check your vacuum hoses as well, make sure that there are no leaks between the carbs and engine.

This is a bit strange.
The first time I started the bike,
it's just fine, it can be rev up to whatever you want.....
I ride the bike around....
and it starts stutters, engine limits to 2,000 rpm.

I go back, the engine can be rev up with N gear....
but not on other gear. definitely no power.

now it's really hard to start....
the gas smells really bad, too rich
like the choke is on (i'm sure it's not on)
and now, I can't rev up at all... just idle.....
