I HAVE A 00 F4 AND I SWAPPED THE ENGINE OUT FOR THE 05 F4I. WELL NOW I HAVE NO SPARK. ALL PLUGS ARE FIRMLY CONNECTED. ANY HELP ON WHAT IT MIGHT BE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECITAED. THANKS

 

did you change the computer too?

 

I am wondering the same thing. Did you just change over the motor or did you get the harness and ECU

 

The spark timing wheel is different. Take off the right side cover. See how the ignition pickup wheel doesn't have a full circle of spokes, on the f4 it does. I'm guessing you just switched out the longblock and are still using the carbs an f4 computer. If so that is the problem. If you switched the entire engine and electronics it could be anything. Also you can't hot wire these bikes if you don't use the key ignition the pink wire doesn't get 9volts it gets 12 and the ecm won't operate.
