My 99 F4 Track Bike
Not too exciting but here is my F4 for the track:
Second photos shows my F4 for the street, I am doing a seperate thread for it if anyone wants to check it out.
So far my track bike has stiffer springs, woodcraft clip ons, M4 slip on, jetting, rearset plates to move them back and up and the race front fairing. I have a F4i Ohlins rear shock that was just rebuilt for me that will go on soon and and F4i sub frame, single seat, and race tail.
For the race tail I am probably going to paint black because I am afraid of trying to match that yellow/orange color. Any suggestions on color code or do you know if that color can be purchased anywhere?

Glad you posted these up over here in the F4 section for members to see. A lot of members don't step into the New Member area that often.
Good stuff on your track F4. I've really enjoyed tracking my F4. Often times, I've got the oldest bike on the track but its never the last one back to the paddock. ;-)
As for paint codes, Motorcycle Paint - ColorRite has factory colors. However, as old as the yellow paint is on the F4, often it won't exactly match. In fact, my fairing colors don't match the rest of my bike. I've been putting off painting/new fairings for awhile myself. I still have a silver split-seat tail since I did the conversion years ago. You mentioned painting yours black... I have actually considered the same if I don't paint the rest of the bike.

Welcome to the Section!! Glad to see another F4 owner. I did the tail swap and had a black tail for awhile and it actually looks pretty good. Im working on getting a second motor and carbs for mine as a spare. you should check these guys out for the subframe for the track bike Motorcycle Racing Subframes Super Bike Subframe and Supersport Sub frames, They have a few other things for the F4/i as well.
