My 2000 CBR600F4 w/ 06 1000RR conversion
hey bmxr how'd the tail go on the f4RR?
im guessing 1000r subframe? maybe a litle grinding on the tips? im starting to thik that the only difficult job there was mating the rr sub to the frame... just trying to be ready i suppose, as i dont have any welding gear, let alone welding experience
....
and a quick heads up bro, you may get tired of myslight lack of fab knowledge

No, that is the stock f4 subframe..
There are 4 bolts that hold the subframe on.. Just pull the top two, raise the tail with the bottom two bolts still in place(it will turn on an axis) when you have it where you want it, and drill two holes in the subframe further towards the tail(I can't remember how far down) so it sits higher.. Also cut the garbage on the end of the tail too, as the rr tail is much shorter..

hey bmxr i dont know if youre still tracking or not but the gas tank on this f4/1krr.... is it the solid stock f4 tank or did you actually swap every bit above the frame as far as the fuel cell is concerned? cause suddenly that tank looks so much smaller than my stock f4 tank and i believe new bike have a fuel cell, and then the pretty cover ontop.
