When i hit around 6-10 rpm in gear it starts to backfire. It hasnt done this before.
Started bike with choke, its cold outside.
Waited less than a minute and then it idled fine
took off down the road it was actin up a bit. pulled off to the gass station
bought a 5 hour energy and took a ****.
then i went back home.

35000 miles on the engine (rebuilt)(carbs).
What do i do to fix this problem?
Valve adj.?
clean carbs?
Ebay?
all of the above?

 

It acts fine after the engine warms up a bit, but when i hit around 10-14 rpm it will do the same thing.

 

Perhaps it is running too rich? What color is the back of your exhaust?

White/light grey = too lean, which is very bad
black = too rich

Dark grey = perfect
