Default license plate screws

I am getting my license plate today and was wondering where I can buy these license plate screws, and what size? I can't wait to put the plate on...

the dmv will sell you some for a hefty price.

however, any hardware store will do.

not sure on the size or how your mounting it. It'd be a bit different on each bike. Mine is a custom setup so iunno. If you can take off whatever your mounting it in and take it in the hardware store with you thatd be the way to go.

You can get screw kits for plates from a auto parts store, or I used some chromed hinge caps off a pair of hinges that used 1/4-20 threads and a couple of short bolts. Be creative, ;-)

I found some 1" bolts lying around in the garage...and they fit perfectly. I took my bike to work this morning and it was fun despite the fact that I stalled 3-4 times. I am now proud to say that my riding experience is from 0-15 mins.
