you mean 112,000 miles right! make sure you check for cracked welds on the frame. that thing has been abused, is it a salvaged title? hopefully no bent or cracked frame and it works for you. by the time you put money into fixing up you could have bought a better conditioned same year model for $500 more without the abuse, your money, have fun fixing!

i just got a complete set of fairings from an f4 for free... so far ive put no money into the bike... only money i plan on putting into it is money for a new wire harness, gas tank and some chain adjusters... haha

and btw honda f4 f4s around here do not cost 1400... your lucky to find a damn f2 for that price around here in half decent condition people think there older cbrs are gold here -_-

Well, I'm keeping things positive here for you. I have faith that you have a *project*. I said that already & posted the shop manual link for you.

I like a good project...& that's what you've got. I like seeing bikes & automobiles, & other machinery, that have been written off, come back w/ some TLC & elbow grease. So, yes, it would be good to see your project become really more roadworthy, safe, & reliable...& look better as well.

So SOLDIER ON !!! Keep us updated.
