Just bought a set of front "flush mount" turn signals. They are a set of K&S universal fit similar to the ones pictured below. My question is this.....when installing these signals on my 99F4 do you think I should grind down the lip of where my stock signals were or not.

If I don't I know they will not mount perfectly flush...but not by too much. If I do grind the lip down I am afraid it will make it harder to mount the front screw of the new signal because there will be nothing there except a hole. Any ideas?
