I'm with you Madtaz! Wiring nuts also degrade the quality of your wires. Too much twisting on and off and wires will dwindle down. I use them to hold the wires together while learning what goes where. I've since gone to using a quick connect/ disconnect set up. I don't want it to be permanent (in the event that I need to take the tail piece off and what not).

I got my tail light off ebay for like $40 (i think)

thats cool, i actually made some wires with shielded alligator clips for that. Makes it a little easier and quicker for testing

You get these tail lights on ebay. Mine lasted about 1 1/2 years before one of the wires pulled off from the circuit board. My brothers F4i the same thing he his pulled out for the second time.

i have alitle blinker and taillight problem myself but not quite what this thread is about but maby someone can still help. On my gauge cluster my blinker lights are always on and so are the blinkers themselves. so when i try to connect the yellow wires from the taillight to the harness the blinkers stay on blocking out my brake light. does anyone know what the issue could be? i need to figure out how to get the blinkers to stay off until i try to use them. thanks
