I just ordered the plain colored pair of T-REX stand off ebay for $129.90 shipped. I also ordered the 8mm spools to be shipped with the stands.

Will I need to drill holes on my f3 for these 8mm spools?

i got the t-rex's n love em. Pitbulls might be the top dog but they are way over priced.
I paid $250 for the pair of Pitbulls to trust with my >$10K bike. How is that over priced?
cause my $120 pair of T-Rexs work just as good. [8D]

you reasoning isnt necessarily wrong but pitbulls is. And higher price != better.

and I thought you had a 600RR? htf is it a $10k+ bike??

Do most people use these axel spools with their F4? The problem I am forseeing is when I have to replace my rear tire/ and or brakes......how am I going to remove the wheel if the stand is suported by the axel?

The problem with drilling is possible weakening of the swingarm, has anyone had a problem there?

drilled n tapped mine and had no issues (have rr swingarm now tho). The F4 has a alum swingarm tho, thin the F2 n 3 has a steel one, but not sure. You can also get a rear stand that can do both spools or pads that lift from the sa. The T-Rex*s come with both btw . I got the rear and front stand w/ triple tree attachment for $146 shipped last winter. One of the best purchases I*ve made.

I would just tap the holes in the swingarm, that way they are always there and if by some misfortune you happen to go down, they may save some damage to the swingarm. I like the spike spools, they look sweet. And yes, most are 8mm. 8 x 1.25 I believe.

My T-Rex stands came in from Ebay today.
After quick assembly, I used the rear one to change sprockets.
I like the quality and overall ease of them.
