My bike is on the rear stand everyday when I get home from work. It's a habit, and I think a good one. I have spools so it's super stable.
Spools are definately more stable. You'd have to try pretty hard to knock it off of them. Using the rear stand without the front is ok, but not vice versa.

That's what I figured.....it wouldnt take much of a push for the front handle bars to move a bit and for the whole bike to fall if only the front side was up. I think I am going to go ahead and just buy a rear stand off of ebay for now and perhaps get a front stand awhile down the road if I find I need it.

Bike is not dropped or lowered.....Im 6'4 that just wouldn't work. I found a stand locally for 80$, which is how much ebay stands cost shipped to Canada (if not less); so that was just easier, now I need spools for my f4 though. I assume 8mm is what I need?

you have to install spools on our bikes, You either have to drill a hole in the swingarm, or you can get the ones that slide into the axel....

Where do you get the axel ones? I assume you have to take them out before you can ride (thats no big deal)
