Hi all i have an issue i cant seem to solve my bike keeps cutting out intermittently like its running out of fuel. I have followed the workshop manual with testing the fuel system
solinoid and relay all good
Fuel transfer relay works as it should
Fuel pump works seems ok

Now im lost the manual says the fuel relays have voltage until the bike reaches 18mph then no voltage soo that means the pump only runs under this speed?

Is there a way of testing the fuel cut relay? Im guessing it should be normally open as i can not test any resistants between the 3 terminals?

also once running the bike will run with both the fuel cut relay and fuel transfer relaydisconected?

Please help..

 

Maybe the problem is the ignition cutting out.

Just a thought.
