I am glade you are back up and running.. I got mine back from the shop.. They said that the fuel pump is intermittent.. They offered to fix it for me for a meer 300 dollars... I just chuckled and said i would be over with the truck to pick it up.. =).. Soon you will see a burnt orange CBR F4 for sale on the forums

When I took my old fuel pump apart after putting the new one in it I found that the piece that makes contact with the electronics was burned up and crumbling. Maybe you could take the black plastic part off yours and find something similar to solve your problem. I know mine is running cooler now at idle, probably because it's not way lean due to no fuel pump. How many miles does your bike have on it? Just out of curiosity

The clock reads 32000 but it has had different sprockets from day one so i would guess around 25000 or a little more. I will tear it apart and see what i can find.. if i screw it up i planned on getting a different anyways =)

Update for every one or any one else that comes across this pesky problem.. It was the fuel pump... Even though when hooking it up to the battery and it worked it was still intermittent. After getting a new pump it primed and started right up. Thank you every one for your help. I hope this helps some one else one of these days.
