Default Is this factory?

Is this lower fairing supposed to be all black? This is a 2000 F4 with 5000 miles that I can get for $2500 and I am looking for a reason for it being so cheap. He said it has never been down but that fairing looks wrong..

Looks like it was repainted or a different fairing was installed. I would check forother things that could suggest a crash.Check if theclipons aren't quite straight. Are there scratches on the engine covers? Are the rear brake or shifter bent?

Buy it-its a Honda! It will always run no matter what plastics are on it! HaHa But seriously though, thats definately not stock. The frame, clip-ons, motor, shifter, etc. might be fine and only the fairings got messed up if it was layed down. Seems like a good deal.

See if this makes any sense to you F4 guys. The current owner said that it got pushed over and scratched up, so he took the stickers off and buffed the scratches out. He said that the fairing was always black, its just now missing the stickers. Does that make sense?

No. Not at all. Unless he did it and is lying OR he bought it himself with the black fairings on it. I would say if you're having doubts then dont buy it.

Yes. The fairing is painted black. The decals that would make the wings would be orange. I beat that is the OEM fairing with the decals taken off.

The yellow on the side fairing and the F4i are ONLY decals. Remove them and you have a completely black fairing.
