well i have a 2000 f4 with thrashed plastics, what would be required to mount f4i plastics, other than the plastics,seats,headlight, or even will the f4i plastics line up and bolt on, if anyone has info on this please let me know..

well i hear you can swap out the rear end and have the dual seat.....i dont think you can swap the rest.....

I'm pretty sure the left/right sides are the same - the upper is different because the f4 has the single light - the f4i the duals.

The tail section is swappable but you pretty much have to swap the whole subframe.

 

ok, thanks for that info, if i bought the dual headlight, what modification would be require to mount it, would it bolt up, if i got the front fairing brackets, or will it bolt to the stock fairing brackets??

so from what i have read i need a Ft fairing, Front fairing stay??, f4i gauge cluster, (need to run a f4i temp sensor, i need the F4i rear subframe, battery tray, seats and cowling.. i need to custom wire the headlight so far this is what i got, this all correct so far.. if anyone has a link to any of the good write ups to the gauge cluster mod, ft end mod or the tail section mod please lemme know

While you are in there...

might aswell get an f4i motor... and have pretty much an f4i! *which is possible*.... other than the sprockets i think...

 

why not save some money and buy an f4i??

beasue i got the cbr 600 for 1000, and it needs all new plastics, anyways, ide rather spend alittle more and make it look good

 

If you've got the headlight/fairing stay everything is swappable.

You're temp guage on the F4i cluster will not work, though. That's my only drawback, but I still think I'm going to do it.

For ****s and giggles me and my buddy swapped our entire bikes plastics one night. Direct bolt-on.
