I love the yellow/black for sure, but I also dig the red/black. Its all personal preference I guess.
BTW I shortened my rear signals...if you compare to the pic before you can see the improvement from the saggy crap I had before.

Here is the story of my '99 Italian Red 600F4. She found me on craigslist one day, and we decided to meet up and check each other out. She liked me, and I liked her. Sure, she was rough around the edges and needed a little TLC. Im a patient guy and can work with problems well. So, I said what the heck and took her back home to my place. She found it quite cozy in my garage, of course all the massaging I did didnt hurt her feelers either.
So here we start, these are the very first pics of her when I picked her up...
So after spending a little time together and getting acquainted with each other, she opened up to me and let me work a little magic on her aesthetically....
She grew to like the way I touched and handled her, so she asked for a little more massaging...
Well, after a few one night stands, we grew closer and closer and she allowed me to do more and more and she loved every minute of it....

Then, one fateful night, a deer whom we will call bambi decided to try and take our lives. She took on the brunt of the trauma and saved my life (I never dropped the bike, and kept going since I was 2 miles from home and didnt know the extent of the damage)...
So, I promised her I would take great care of her over the winter, and would inspect her every inch and she would be a new woman come spring. This is how winter started...
And when the flowers bloomed this year, she awakened a new lady...
AND just FYI, im not one of those people who fall in love with material things! Just wanted to make an interesting post. Some might ask, well wouldnt it have been easier and cheaper to part the F4 out and buy an F4I, Yes maybe. I have about 4500 in this one, but I will never forget that night and now this bike is a part of me and I was not willing to part with it yet.

Yeah, I thought about painting the frame and swinger or getting a f4i swingarm. Once I got the subframe off and I started looking at everything that would have to be removed or taped up to do the paint I decided to leave it silver for now. I figured it would go with the polished lip on the wheels. I may sometime down the road paint them black, and if I do ill repaint the wheels. I originally wanted to go with a lexus pearl white, but decided on the 'bay fairings. If I dont like them by the end of the season she will be different next year too. Thank god a family member works in a body shop. My knee dented the tank when the deer hit me. I had it fixed and painted for $25. I called around and everywhere else wanted $250! F THAT!!
