Did you lower your front end? and if you did how do you like your handling. Please tell me what adjustments you did to your suspension. I'm interested.

When I first got my F4 it had already been lowered. I was shown the bike had a threaded dog link in the back and the fork tubes were slid up the triple clamps. I have since had the bike raised to the original height and the bike handles so much better.

Nope the bike is a 2000 F4 and started out with a banana seat. A couple of winters ago I did the 01-03 F4i tail end conversion. If you do a search of the site you will see many F4 riders have done this. There are plenty of links to show you how to do it.

Just had to post this below; took the day off and went to Vermont near Killington and had a great time up Rt 4. It was almost 90 degrees and the bike kept its cool. The temperature needle only went just slightly above horizontal -- even when cruising through towns at 25 mph and going 80 mph on the highway.

I had several opportunities to speed hard but didn't -- too much beautiful scenery up that way and it's nice not having to look for cops.

I should post some pics of my ride now that it is not so embarrassing since I really cleaned it up over the winter with a new front fairing (painted by myself) and new seat (done by myself as well).

Now I just need to "shorty" my rear signals to match the front and put on my yellow rim-stripes. A new exhaust would be nice as well but my wife does not like that idea.

I love the black and yellow much more than my red/silver.
