f4 to f4i speedometer
Is there any way to change to the f4i speedometer??
would it require all new F4i Fairings?? Or do you think it would be a direct connect? I tried searching the DIYs.. but couldnt find anything..

It is not "direct connect". There are a couple of issues to resolve wiring-wise for the two systems to co-exist & for the gauges to indicate properly.
Also, the F4i gauge cluster is not a direct bolt-up to the F4 fairing stay. Those that have done the gauge swap typically have done the entire front end F4 to F4i conversion...that's front fairing, dual light setup, & gauge swap. However, I've also seen where just the gauges have been swapped out. There is some altercation & riggish-ment-stuff that you have to do to make the cluster fit & to secure it but it can be done.
I guess my post is supposed to be more encouragement than the referencing of how-to's. Whether I've accomplished this or not, I'm not sure.
Yeah i am thinking about a full F4i Front end Conversion as well.. Along with the F4i Seat conversion..
Might as well just make it a f4i huh?? HAHAHA!
How hard is the F4i Front end conversion?? I cant seem to work the Search function that well because every time i try to search for something it never comes up with the right thing..
Its like the Bing commercials... SEARCH OVERLOAD! HAHA
