Aside from fuel injection vs. carbs, is there any other differences in the engines between F4i and F4? I am looking for a stock header and think if it came from F4i and F4 then that would broaden my search, that and for future reference. Thanks

 

well as i understand it, slightly different intake cams, better flowing head on the f4i, that and sensors

 

I think the F4 header turns out more at the midpipe than the F4i does.

It will bolt up fine but you can only use an F4i header with an F4i slip-on.
An F4 slip-on will not bolt up correctly.

 

Yes, there must be some changes, because they bumped the redline up like 700rpm between the two, didn't they?
