Default Cooling fan resistance

Hi, can anybody please take a multimeter to their cooling fan on their F4 and measure what the resistance reading is (in ohms)? I suspect my fan on my bike is drawing too much current. Also, anybody with an F4i, please do the same.

I measured the resistance of my cooling fan motor and the lowest reading i saw was 3.2 ohms. Is that normal for an f4? The strange thing was, the longer i was testing it the higher the reading became. I'm thinking maybe the fan was cooling down after being used... because it shorts out when hot due to expansion? Or the change in resistance is due to a capacitor somewhere.
Thanks!
