I wouldnt touch that bike... unless you want a stunter...
I just sold my F4 and it was perfect.. granted mine went for a bit more than that sled but it was mostly stockish and ran great.. no issues.. just turn the key and go.
That bike is going to take a decent amount of cash to get it to where you want it.. the more I look at it the more I notice that it is missing.. run fast.. there are some good deals out there.

I would say don't shy away from customization, just be careful about it and ask for every document on the bike you can. Ask to take it to a shop. But if the guy won't let you really get a good look at it, run and run fast. I love to see what people do with their bikes but hate to see them get screwed. When they try to sell the bike. That's why I keep a log so if I ever do decide to sell I can have a community to back me up with what I say.
