I bought a 2001 cbr 600 f4 from a friend who had a wire short and it cought fire and burned up in his garage. I paid only 200.00 for it, what can I use to get all of the black colored burn dust off from the frame and all metal parts?????? Brake cleaner works, but is there anything that I can spray all over it and power wash it all off????????? I hate rubbing for hours!!!! unless it's a pair of niiice Booooobiees!!!!!!

It might not be the right thing to use, but when I have something on my bike that won't come off easily, I use the degreaser from my kitchen. I get it from the local dollar store.

 

tire some sort of wheel cleaner, but for the melted plastic and what not, scrubbing n scraping prolly will be the only thing to get that off tho.

 

Where ya at? I have an F4 I'll sell ya... We can even make a trade...
