Me again...
I was thinking on making paint my bike, but here in Argentina where I live they have quoted a quite expensive price for the work.
So today while browsing the web I have found a Fairing kit same color as my bike, cheaper that what they have quoted for some parts body paint.
What do you think about this kit? Does it worth?
Is it exactly the same as the original?
Any info would be really appreciated.

The plastic is thicker and more brittle than the OEM stuff

The paint will crack and fade over time.


But it's a helluva lot cheaper. I don't regret using one of the kits, but then again, it wasn't a show bike, and I knew I was going to sell it. So you just need to evaluate those things...

 

Exactly the same kit I bought when my original had scratches on it. Fine kit, like said above, more brittle and the fit isn't perfect, however considerting he price the spraying and stickers were actually surprisingly spot on... infact perfect... really was impressed with the colours. So, tbh if you've not got the money to repray originals, these will do you perfectly.

I've since (August 2015 had my originals resprayed and they're not pearl yellow and electric blue). Go for it... I was happy with mine just don't expect them to be as good as the OEM ones.

P.S The two pictures you see here are with the cheap chinese fairings on... I know you can't see finish but you can see look good.
