i know isnt this a great first post! ok well i bought a 99 f4 that is a stunt bike loaded it in the truck got it home put a fresh battery in, 91 gas, turned the gas on, and poured a little seafoam down the carbs. turn the key and and try to fired her up and after a little complaining she started up, idle, and ran like a new bike so i rode it up and down the street and then went and parked it and went to a friends house. when i got back home i thought i would work on the bike a little more and tighten a few bolts. so i go to start the bike and all it does is crank! so im like wth! so i keep trying and it almost started but all it would do is puff and backfire. so for the past 3 days iv been tearing into it taking apart the carbs cleaning them, checking the spark plugs, checking all the conections, and seeing if i have spark. all were good!!!! so why isnt the bike starting? i adjusted the pilot skrews 2 turns out like honda recomends and all the jets were clear. could the carbs b so out of sync that the bike just backfires? im stumped and getting very frustrated can any one please help me out!

Probably fouled plugs
Pull them first, then check your kill switch too...................
