Default Alarm/remote start help

HI!
I'm new to the post first of all I would like to introduce my self .
My name is Giovanni I own a 2000 f4.
I wont to thank all of you in advance.

I purchased a alarm/remote starter from eBay

The brand is alpha guards red flash the unit came whit the wiring diagram.

red=positive
black=negative
brown=positive 12v out
blue=engine start line
gray=off wire
pink=off wire
yellow= direction light

Fortunately I have a shop manual whit a wire schematics for the bike
I hook up all the wire from the alarm to the correct wire to the bike everything work except the remote start when I press the start button on the remote the bike try to crank but is enable to start .
I feel like that I'm missing something.

Well first off, is your bike cold? Your trying to remote start a carbureted engine, so obviously it won't start if choke isn't set, which makes a remote start virtually useless on a carbureted bike.

So the bike cranks but won't start?

What crank time is set, does the remote start have a tach check?

Honestly whatever that brand is, Alpha Guard or whatever, is junk. Buy a Directed unit, like viper.

Yes, set choke and try again. You may have to choke it when you park.

Well, on a remote start, you typically power ignition and accessory, so basically whatever show's 12volts when the key is turned to on should be powered up. So you need to make sure you have everything powering up. Obviously you found the starter wire, did you tap ignition? There could be ignition 1 and 2 on the bike, make sure both are powered. That will ensure that all starting components are working during remote start

My only thoughts on that is in the fact the bike is cranking, if all that is connected improperly, I'm pretty sure the bike wouldn't even try to crank.

i believe its carb'd if im not mistaken, the F4i's were fuel injected. if its cranking but wont start, then its fuel related. double check all your connections with the remote start/alarm system, make sure you have your grounds grounded.. but dont forget to check the basics like your fuel petcock being on (pointed down)
