Default RE: Acceleration kit on the F4

Did you ever try going with just one down in the front and keeping the back stock?? Because of that other guy that posted on here i am a little nervous of getting the back done as well and hating the fact that I have to shift every two seconds. I am thinking about going with just the kit for the front sprocket. I truly love the feel of my bike but I want to be able to power up wheelies just a little easier. I can say I am getting better and better at it every day. I am too much of a Beotch to clutch wheelies although I really would like to learn.....I am just afraid of looping and messing up my bike. I would like to do the whole stand up wheelie too, but maybe I am getting ahead of myself??

Anyway, I just dont want to install the conversion kit for one down in the front, leave the back, and feel no difference?? If anyone knows of any sites I can visit to purchase, please let me know. I found a few on Ebay but I am looking for a few different options. I am not looking to be cheap about it and I would rather just get one of the best quality kits.

Thanks in advance for the information,

Jamie

I have renthal sprockets on mine -1 front and +1 rear. I had vortex on it for awhile but got a good deal on the renthals. If you are looking at doing more wheelies go with -1 +2 rear. It wont get out of hand. And as for clutching wheelies just find your power band and start slipping the clutch alittle at a time and soon enough you will be up in the air. It is easy to learn, just take it slow and dont go past your limits. And for stand ups, I would learn how to clutch it up first and learn to ride them, and then try stand ups. When I started to do stand ups I was so scared of looping, it is a lot different from sit downs. I am still not perfect at stand ups and still get scared when I do them. But practice makes perfect.

I got my kit from www.sumofallparts.netThey were pretty cheap and good product. As far as hating it, i dont think you will, you will love it. As far as shifting it didnt change much. I still ride the same as i did before.
