Default '99 Project

Hello Everyone, new here, and have a new project on my hands. My buddy laid down his 99 f4, and decided he wanted a harley. So I came to its rescue and picked it up for $400. Has around 3x,xxx on the clock but sounded great last time he came by on it. He cracked the stator cover and destroyed the stator so i have new of both on the way. He also lost the key so I will hopefully getting a new one cut this week coming up. I picked up the bike to start track riding, and do street riding. My goal is to put all new fluids in, new plugs, new filters and get it running. After that I'll try to make it look pretty. I hope to learn a lot on this forum and am looking forward to giving this bike a new life! Here's a picture I took today from her good side haha. The bike currently has all the plastics stripped off so I can focus on all the mechanical and electrical parts easier.

Nice project. Just picked up my '99 for $800 because my son-in-law thought the stator was bad. Went through the electricals, found some horribly jacked up wiring, cleaned that up and went through and checked all connections and now we get 14.2 volts at the battery when at idle.

Make sure to take lots of pictures as I am doing with my project. https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...roject-155907/
