Default 600 f4 wont fire

i have a 2000 f4 and it will crank over but wont fire...i bought a new cdi box and didnt help it...all of the wires are connected and all of the connections are clean and tight.

the only thing i can come up with is the rectifier.. i dont know what it does but it has 12v going in and on each of the yellow wires..there are 3.. there is only like 3 to 5 volts on them. could this rectifier make my bike not fire at all? i really need help.

Are you sure there is no spark, or, is it just that the bike won't run? There could all sorts of reasons if thats the case.

The resistor is in the ignition, meaning where the key goes. When people wreck or try to start the bike with a screwdriver they break. I know the secret resistance that must be used to cause the desired voltage drop across the sacred "pink wire", but alas i am forbidden from divulging that info because of karma and the possible evil uses of the secret resistance. For future refrence anyone who can pm me a photo of them, the frame vin, title, and picture id in the same photo i'll help you.

One of the resons it didn't spark when it was touching your tongue is the plug wasn't grounded.to check for spart pull the plug. and ground the threds to the bike and try it then. are your plugs getting wet? is there is fuse blown?
