Did you think it was something to do with living near the seaside?

Anything is possible in this crazy mixed world. believe me, after nearly 40 years of riding bikes, I seen some pretty weird sh*t that people put in their petrol tanks, (take Peter Fonda in Easy Rider, hiding his drug money in the tank inside plastic tubes, weird eh. Everyone knows you hide your money in plastic tubes up your backside, some people). But to be honest no, kinda of figured it was some sort of do hickey thingo that goes in the whatsit. From wot I can see from the data sheet, we have similiar products. From wot I can tell, if you have neglected your vehicle, treated it like crap, avoided any maintenance for like a zillion miles, so that your carbies/injectors, spark plugs, piston crowns/ rings & oil seals are rooted. Then a can of this type of thing in your petrol will certainly fix it.

the running rough problem i was having was related to the jets not puttingout enough fuel. the bike was just running too lean. i swapped in 42 for my pilots and 150's for the mains. screams now. just didnt repost afterwards. it always ran great, just didnt wanna seem to push past 12,500. jets did the trick though. lol guess that did sound kinda bad :b

Sorry dude, was not intentionally having a go at you, did not want to drop you in it. Guess I should stay off the turps while whacking the werty (translation for my American friends) "Did not intend to make fun intentionally of you, & drop you in the do do, and I should refrain from drinking whisky when typing a post."

you must be able to see how it would suck if your bike was rough and you were trying to sell it on here.
Sorry if I offended you but we do have tolook out for each other.
