Title pretty much says it all. I just got my first bike the other day and I'm going to be replacing all the fairings on it. I like the 97 look with only one hole under the seat instead of 2 slots. I'm pretty sure I'll need a different seat if I use 97 fairings but I was just wondering if anyone knew if they were a straight bolt on swap or if there's headaches ahead.

 

You will need the under tail tray to a 97 and the tail light and mounting bracket. The seat will get you by, but it looks like crap! I think there is a few seats for a 97 or 98 on ebay. its pretty straight forward.Good luck!

 

ive heard 97-98 brakelight and bracket, and the front fairing stay otherthen that its supposed** to be bolt on

i just bought my 95 and it has a 98 full fairing set on it, so yeah, I'd say it can be done
