[align=left]Hey this is my first post but ive already read over alomost every f3 fourm topic lol. I recently got a 1996 cbr 600 for FREE. its in rough shape but not as bad as i expected, plus its only got 6500 miles. it was crashed pretty bad and was sitting in a garage for 5 years. this past weekend i took the remaining plastics and tank off. I hooked up a battery and got it running in no time just by feeding it gas through the fuel line and it sounded good. I took the carbs off and cleaned them out good and put everything back on except some of those emisson hoses and it wouldnt start. I tried for a while and so i hooked the emisson hoses to how i think they were. it still wont start. its turning over and making a really deep sound. Do you need those emisson hoses to be hooked up? reguardless do u think its just flooded or plugs fouled out? thanks i appreciate any help. and if anyone knows of any sites to buy plastics please tell me

well i know when i took the carb rack off and jetted mineit took like 20 minutes of cranking to relize when i took the carb rack off i mistakenly unplugged the fuel pump and after i plugged it back in it still took like 5 minutes of cranking to fill the carb bowls then it started and for some reason wich i think is because its jetted now it runs kinda rich with very small amount of black smoke when i blip the throttle just telling you what couldve happend so good luck and let us know how it turns out and your very lucky to get a begionner bike like that for free i payed 2 grand with rash on the fairings and all apart but she is a sweet thang now
