Hi, Anyone have any idea what this grease and dirt is on my bike fork brake side? The brake feels a little looser but that could just be me. I don't see a brake line leak anywhere.

Thanks.....So I just have to buy a new fork seal and dust cover?........Any other parts you can think of? Do I need to put fluid inside it? I found some directions online to repair it but they don't say what they purchased and put into the fork as far as oil or whatever.

 

Yeah, you're gonna want to put new oil in there. I just put together a set and used Bel Ray 10w.

The other wear items in there are the two bushings top and bottom. You might want to tear them apart before ordering parts.

Do yourself a favor and find a copy of the FSM. Cheers
