Default What mods are needed to fit these fairings?

I want to buy these fairings off of ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HONDA-CBR600...QQcmdZViewItem

Do i need to make any modifications to get these to fit? The add says that they are for a 96-98 f3, I have a 95. Do i need to change my fairing stay? Is this possible. Please help. Thanks

If the pictures are reflective of what you get, all you'd have to do is screw in the headlight and front turn signals, then bolt everything onto the chassis. At most the only real modifications to the fairings would be drilling the holes, but the pictures show them already pre-drilled. I'd imagine they just took the moldings of the stock fairings so they "should" fit just like OEM.

Try to find out what kind of paint they used so you can paint the tank the same color and have everything else match.

I will do that for the paint but the ad says that the fairings are for a 96-98 f3 and i have a 95, that doesn't matter?

Yeah, they've got it wrong. The 95-96's seat, rear tail section, and brake light housing are different from the 97-98's. Looking at the pictures, they've got the 97-98 rear tail section, so they wouldn't work unless you bought a 97-98 seat and brake light housing.

Yep, there shouldn't be a problem.
