Hey guys.

I was out riding tonight and on my way home noticed someone took this screw off my bike or it some how rattled out. Anyone know exactly what I need to replace it off the top of their head.

Yes,you need the SPECIAL shouldered bolt and 6 mm nut underneath. Many CBR models use the same bolt so your dealer should have it in stock! Easy fix.

 

Yea its called the handle pivot bolt and the nut that goes underneath. it should be about 15 bucks all together, or you might try a local(non dealership)bike shop to see if they have some around.

One last question. Is there any reason this bolt is special and can't be picked up at a hardware store?

 

Yes, it's special. Your local hardware store is not going to have it or anythingsimilar toit. Check to see if there are any cycle salvage yards around.

You can get your Honda OEM stuff through them. Just go OEM, then navigate to your bike, etc.

Hey, I live in Canada and Honda here discontinued that bolt for some reason, they make everything else except that bolt, i had to get the hold thing again from Ebay. The bolt is a rare commodity. If the Honda Dealers in the States still make them still then no worries. This bolt is the same for all F3-F4i bikes so if you can find it on Ebay or someone on here has a spare then your in luck.
