Two Brothers or Yoshimura?
My '96 F3 has a Vance & Hines right now but honestly... Its just not loud enough. "Load pipes save lives". I have asked around and everyone has there favorites. What do you guys think?
I want to have to say "I was just being safe officer" haha |
loud pipes dont save lives, they get you pulled over. smart riding saves lives though....
i have a yosh trs system. its not loud, its not quiet, and i like the tone. if you want loud, cut the can and remove packing. i'd recommend doing a little at a time until you get the sound you want. |

I agree with 74demon +1 |
if u want loud go D&D
|
Yeah yea. D&D for loud....2Bro is $$$ so if $ is ok get it...i had a choice between Yosh or VH...I went for VH, I like the higher pitch cause my bike is old....I think from bike to bike...each may sound different. But overall, having some sound Vs. Stock silencer is better....to be heard coming.
Loud pipe by itself won't help, must add anticipation...prepareness in gears......and watch those OP's LEFT turns |
I've got a two brothers slip-on on my F3 and I love it. The tone wasn't aggressive enough for my taste, and I hated the way it looked sticking out past the rear tire, so I cut it down 4.5". If you'd like I can take some video today of it so you can hear it. It's plenty loud now and is still very tolerable.

Loud pipes are for Harley's...and even then they can be intolerable. Also, many tracks are enforcing sound dB limits so if track days are a possibility, you won't be welcome with your noise.
I run Vance and Hines (like I do on my harley...) and I think it's a great mix of performance and tone - especially in the upper end of the tachometer. |
