okay, I went out the other day to warm up bike to go ride it and when I turned the key to the on position the dash lights all lit up then it went click and the lights all went off and nothing! checked fuses and tested the battery , it read 13.35 volts, also it was in fine working order! what could possibly be the problem ? Stator?, fusable link? please help, need to get this fixed asap!?????????

 

did you check the main fuse under the seat?

I would see if you can borrow a battery. Just because voltage reads high when sitting doesn't mean it can't be bad when a load is placed on it. (this is why they check car batteries on a machine that places a load for x amount of second on it.)

 

Have you tried jump starting it? Sounds like a fuse somewhere has gone pop! if the starter motor is stuck put it in gear and rock it as this can free it up.

 

Better idea. Just sel one of us the bike for $500 since it does not run.

 

did you make sure that the kill switch is in the off position? or would that be the on position...any ways make sure the big red button on the right handle bar isn't the problem.

 

There is a fuse in the fuse box. It should be called ignition/fuel/something. Is this is blown it will still light up the dash but nothing will happen when you hit the starter button. Let us know what it is.
