Mine doesn't have that either, and it drives me nuts!!! The nut that is in the faring is stripped so it's always loose. Any ideas?? Ronayers.com has the plastc piece but not the piece I need

Fill the stripped hole with some plastic weld, then when it dries, drill it out.

You won't need to actually fill the hole, just enough to make a strong fit when the screw is reinserted.
