hey eveyrone... my f3 makes that tick tick sound neaer the engine...
is there any chance a bad spark plug can make these sounds??

anyfeedback would be appreciated

 

may not be a spark plug problem....ive had the same problem...start it up and it ticks and makes noises...it warms up and it goes away....turns out to be the cam chain tentioner.....may or not be it.....but it seems to be a minor flaw with honda when theydesigned the bike..might be the first place to look...

 

When was the last time that the valve clearances were checked (how many miles) ? The inspection interval is 16K miles.

 

is their a clock in their somewhere? LOL

 

yea alot of people have been talking about valve clearance...i dont exactly know what this is about...

so if i dont get this fixed...does it mean the engine is becomming damaged???

 

ok guys i just installed the apc manual cct and it did wonders!

my bike is so quiet now... n instal was peace of cake...

now i jus need to take care of my dam leaking water pump problem!! ahhhh
