Thought it wouldn't happen...

So before stowing my bike for the winter, I took off the back tire (since it was bad, so I wouldn't risk it) This means I didn't turn it on for a GOOD while. Went to let my sister's boyfriend listen to the muffler today, and all I got were starter turns.

I forgot to turn the fuel off for a few weeks it was under, switched it after that and it's been that way since, outside under tarps. Anyone have suggestions of what to try? I dont think the battery is the problem being that the lights work, fuel pump comes on, starter turns many times, but what should I look for to get my baby started again? I'm itchin to ride and as soon as I buy that back tire I plan on taking the first semi warm day to full advantage

Yes, check your plugs, but I would still give the battery a good charge anyways. You need good power on tap if your bike been sitting for a while. Its amazing how much power gets taken away from the plugs once you turn on the ignition & then hit the starter button.
Taking the plugs out will also give you an indication if any petrol seeped into the cylinders (smell from the cylinders), also just have a look at your oil to. Don't get into a panic & twist the throttle open before or while your trying to start. Let the choke do its job.

Started mine last week in single digits, just be sure to use full chole, pump the throttle a few times and make sure your idle isnt set at 1k, just turn it up a little ... a little!

the carbs might be flooded...try some starting fluid sprayed in the front ram air ducts, you should at least get a stumble with that.
f3's or any Honda carbed bike for that matter were always fussy in the cold..lol
