I bought these carbs on ebay, they were listed as F2 carbs ... but they are way different.

The float needles are smaller, the float bowls are marked A2/B2, the jetting is different (outside 2 carbs are 140, inside 2 are 138 mains), there are extra hoses, and some kind of external plastic air check valves (I assume for ram air).

Let me know what you think:

i don't know the difference between F2 and F3 carbs, but they look just like my F3 carbs. I just had them off last week too.

 

They look a lot like F2 carbs, the differences are subtle so you would really have to know the F2 carbs to tell the difference.

I know they aren't F2 carbs, so I am trying to see if they are F3 or F4.

Does anybody know if the F3 and F4 carbs are different?

I'm rebuilding these ones and will be re-selling them, so I would like to list them properly so somebody doesn't end up like me with the wrong carbs.

 

just locate the numbers on the carb bodies. that will tell you what they fit. part #'s tell all

 

I looked up a schematic for F4 carbs, not a match.

Definitely F3 carbs, anybody want some mint carbs?

That's the only number I could find on the carb bodies, and it's right above the float bowl sealing surface on the intake side... But I can't seem to match it up to anything online.

yes the f2 carbs are deferent from the f3 carbs. i just looked them up they have deferent part #'s and jetting. reading from ur post, ur needing f2 carbs and got f3 carbs cause f3 out side carbs have the deferent size jets then the inner one's. not to get to nosey how much u give for them.

 

About $80 shipped, looked better in the description and pictures than on my desk lol.

Well now that they're like brand new again I was going to put them on ebay for $150, only thing they will need is a sync because that is specific to your motor.
