Default Tachograph not working

I recently bought a 1997 F3 and as I was taking it up a loading ramp the tachograph suddenly died. It hasn't worked since. I have checked all possible connections to see if they are loose. I have also tried a different ICM which hasn't fixed the problem.

The only thing I can think of is the flexi circuit that feeds power/signals to the gauges is corroded at some parts.

Is there a way to fix/replace this? For the life of me I can't find a part number or find a company (Uk) that could remake this. So any help would be appreciated.

I would start buy checking the circuit for voltage at the point where you normally would hook an external tach. That will give you a good place to start.
If you don't have a manual, you can download one from the stickies on this site.
