Default Stoles Bike

Im so pissed, I had my bike locked up with a Krypto lock and they still cut through it and and took it. I wanna find the ****er and break his knee caps with the bat I have in my car. If I only could see the chicken**** no job havin byatch that did it. I am out 3400.00 now I owned it, I made a police report and did everything and now I feel like I lost my best friend. I didnt have full coverage either only collision and uninsured motorist coverage I figured if I was locking it up in a Lit carport and alot of neighbors could see then I would be ok but these little ****ers that have to wreck people by being jealous of something they wish they could have they should be broke in half......[:@]

Sorry to hear about it, there was another post yesterday about another stolen bike.
Don't blame you for feeling that way either, Police don't actually instill enthusiasm when you report a stolen bike. I once spent 20 minutes reporting a friends Yamaha at a local cop shop, Q:"Make & Model?". A: "Black Yamaha Midnight Special XV1000, rego number blah blah.....". Typing down everything on the incident sheet
After a few other questions he then asked me where the "Push Bike!!!!!" was taken from. Hopefully your plods have more than the one eyebrow and track it down.

Wish you luck, hope you get your ride back

Really sorry to hear that. I know exactly what you're feeling[&o]. In April '06 my wife's '97 F3 was stolen from a hotel in Tampa a week before we were going to the Leesburg Bikefest in Central FL. We felt sick to our stomachs. 4 days later we received a call from the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Department . They found the Bike, caught the scumbag that took it and put him in jail. We got the bike back that day (Thursday evening with minimal damage), and were able to ride to the Bikefest on Friday.

You never know, sometimes things just work out. The picture is of the bike being returned on a flat bed truck. No real damage except for the rear fender and turn signals were cut off. I've also got to thank GEICO insurance. We only had PI, Liability, and Comp. (covers theft). They got the bike back to us that same day, and we're in S. FL.

Hang in there.

When we got insurance we debated full coverage, but for used bikes that only cost about $3K each, it's hard to justify $1500 to $1800 a year in insurance costs (2 bikes). Comprehensive coverage covers the bike for anything other than damage caused by an accident. So theft was covered. We pay about $190 per bike for 6mths coverage. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get it back, it can happen.

what did your fiance think? maybe she had something to do with it. i'm not sure if you stuck it out with her after she tipped your bike over but if your not with her i'm 99% its her or someone she knows. if your still with her maybe she's still mad and had a brother, guy friend or someone take away her problem/competition from you.

and if you didnt stick with her and dumped her after she tipped it over then even more reason why to hurt you where it counts because you gave her the shaft over your bike!

just a thought.
