Starting problems
Hello I am a new rider and i just bought a 97 f3 yesterday. When the guy loaded it up in the truck he started it and it started right up. Now i can not seem to get it to start. battery is good the gas is on. Tryed it with the choke on and off... I belive i flooded it now but any one have any ideas?
thanks.
thanks.
Only if it's in gear.
Most allbikes are wired to kill the engine if the kickstand is down and in gear regardless of whether or not the clutch lever is pulled in.
Is the starter cranking the motor?

if you take the spark plugs out and they are wet then it is flooded......if it is, then with all four spark plugs out, crank the engine over for a little bit(not too much as to kill your battery) then put a spark plug back in and see if its still wet...if it is do the same thing again...eventually cranking it over like that will dry the excess moisture out of the spark plugs
