Sproket/Chain ?

If i go -1/+2 for my new sprokets, will i have to buy a new chain. My chain is fairly new and i really dont wanna replace it if i dont have to. Also anyone know a decent set of sprokets? I dont want the most expensive and i dont want the cheapest. Thanks for the help.

RE: Sproket/Chain ?

If your chain is fairly new most likely not....is it the OEM one tho...or is it aftermarket?? If its OEM id just get rid of it ifyour buying new sprockets. Get a DID chain..or RK chain....with a good set of sprockets. (Vortex...sunstar...JT....Renthal)
I paid $25 for the front and $50 for the rear (Vortex -1+2)

....they do make a titanium sprocket (Sidewinder) which is just as strong as the OEM steel...but as light as aluminum!!! They have a lifetime warranty on them too....but there like $70F and $140R or something.

i got a 525ek gold like race chain like 8k miles ago and ive adjusted it once. [8D] ill be buying another one of those. As far as sprockets go stay away from that vortex aluminum crap, that sprocket didnt last as long as my used tire. get something steel, oem is good
