Spark Plugs !!! bahh

no just make sure you use a nice constant pressure to remove them then turning the wrench and do not try to like hit the wrench to break them open. Also recommended is a torque wrench or a spark plug spacer that youre suppose to use. Its better that way

Of course, take this advice too! Make sure the engine is deadcold. Many have tried to change the spark plugs when the engine was still warm. The entire engine is aluminum and when it is warm and you go to tighten the spark plugs and there is a greater chance of stripping the aluminum threads. Trust me, this is a common occurance with Sportbikes.

get a 16mm deep well socket, 2 inch extension, a ratchet, and a magnet. take the inspection covers off the side fairings, take the plug wires out(or do it one by one if you think youll forget where they go) drop the socket in, put the extension in, then get the ratchet on the extension, loosen it up, take the extension out, then use the magnet to get the socket and plug out. putting plugs in, just do the opposite.
its a real PITA that first few times you do it(and big hands make it harder ), but youll get the hang of it.
