Here is my problem I was riding today and got bout ten miles from the house on the way back, and when I went to accelerate the bike would take bout 3 seconds to go real slugest, then when I went to stop it died. So I sat there for about 3 mintues and I had to choke the bike to get it to start any ideas. A buddy said something about the fuel pump but neither one of us really know what it is. I hope somebody has an answer thanks for the help.

My wifes bike had a similar problem. I checked the fuel pump relay as well as did a flow test. During testing it did just fine. The problem came back a month later. I replaced the fuel pump and it's been a few weeks without any problems. It's hard to tell if this is your problem or not. What is the history of your bike, year, mileage, modifications. The more we know, the more we're able to help you.

 

I dont know much history really just got it about 1month ago. Its a 1997 600f3 the bikes got 40k miles on it. The motor was rebuilt about 1500 miles ago I havent done any upgrades to It so sorry i dont know much but hoping i could get some help thanks alot.
