Side stand switch
Hey guys new problem, bike starts fine but when i put it in gear, she dies. The light on the cluster isnt going on either for the side stand. Is there a fuse?
thanks |
start with taking off the ss switch and cleaning it and making sure all the wires are connected. if that doesnt fix it then go through all the wiring to make sure theres no broken wires or loose connections.

The symptom you're describing gives all indications of the side stand switch connector just being unplugged. If it's unplugged, it will think the side stand is down. The connector is in front of the battery, it's a green 3 pin connector.

Sounds like a bulb. They do go out sometimes. They can be removed from the back side of the gauge cluster. They're behind those little black and brown caps that you see in the photo.
